Kangaroo Puppet

Description

Lucy made the Kangaroo puppet based on the design of her kangaroo stuffed toy.  This puppet is about 16 inches tall. The legs are stuffed and the head has a pillow of stuffing in it, but the body and hands of the mother kangaroo are not stuffed. This style puppet moves its hands and head, but not the mouth. Years ago, most puppets moved their hands and head like the kangaroo, and not their mouth. The most fun feature about this puppet is the baby Joey. The Joey is a separate stuffed  toy that comes out of the mothers pouch. The pouch has elastic sewn in to allow the Joey in and out. Both girls and boys love a toy or puppet that has a mother animal with her baby.
